About the cockpit: The cockpit on this boat is excellent. Helm seat large with fold-up front so you can stand and drive. Large port long bench to lay-out and enjoy the ride. U-shaped seating in back with large table and can be purchased with refrigerator. This boat has high quality thick foam seats that are deep so they are comfortable to sit in.

Cabin: Materials used in the cabin of high quality. Though the front bed needs to be larger and width of the aft berth could be a bit wider if they would have used cushions for the back rest rather than built in ones. Remove the back cushion when you make up the bed in the back. Also, for most people, the head needs to be larger too even if it means making the galley a little smaller. The table and galley are of really high quality. Like the cockpit seating the seats are deep so comfortable to sit in. A lot of easily to get to storage too.

Construction: Chaparral uses the highest quality mass produced pleasure craft materials and equipment available. Much of the equipment manufactures that make thing for boats just don't make the stuff good. Bilge pumps, float switches, TVs, vacuum flush heads, ice makers, refrigerators, etc are mass produced and made a cheaply as they can. The hull, wiring, gelcoat, and quantity of stainless fixtures are great.

Handling: Handling is great. This boat is powered by twin Volve 5 liter fuel injected dual props and cruises at about 30 mph at 3500 rpm. Stable ride and good in ruff seas.

Engine Room: Twin Volve 5 liter fuel injected dual props.

This boat is almost perfect for a family, that desides to go on a little weekend cruise. It has everything you need, and those small things, that you would like to change are quite easy to fix. All the main equipment is fantastic!

Bavaria Yachts

While new to North America, Bavaria Yachts are certainly not new in Europe. A quality production builder for over two decades, Bavaria Yachts are now producing almost 1700 yachts per year, incorporating the best of German craftsmanship and state-of-the-art construction methodology. Selection of materials and components coupled with stringent quality control procedures are second to none in the production boat industry. All that is very exlusive.

The yard in Germany – no where near the water :
Land costs in Germany are high. To help reduce costs (which save you money), the yard has been developed about one hour south of Frankfurt, on the tip of the Bavarian region.

German engineering at it’s best:

Bavaria’s are built in one of the most modern and technologically advanced yards in the world. Innovation, modern computer aided manufacturing processes and highly skilled craftsmen are all combined to produce yachts that are cost effective.
Integrity and Craftsmanship:
The quality and integrity of each yacht produced is apparent from lay-up to the final finishing touches: a quality that is often missed in production boats and found only in custom yachts. Hand laid fiberglass to the waterline, double centerline laminates, Kevlar bow sections, reinforced stringers are just a few of the reasons why Bavaria’s have the Lloyd’s Register LRQA Offshore rating – the highest given in the pleasure craft industry.

Chainplates, thru-hulls, electrical, plumbing and fittings are all very easily accessible and of the best quality. The engine compartment is remarkably practical, allowing easy access for maintenance.

Combine features such as solid hand-laid fiberglass, Kevlar reinforced bow sections right down to the solid bronze thru-hulls with old world craftsmanship and the latest building technology and you get a yacht that is built to last a lifetime.

Each yacht is built under very stringent guidelines as set out by German Lloyd’s and each yacht is individually inspected and certified by a Lloyd’s inspector before leaving the production facility.

Bavaria yachts have been popular for a lot of time. Class, style and quality - all those things are combined in Bavaria yachts.

Dehler 47

The exceptional sailing performance of the Dehler 47, along with the superb interior and layout of the Dehler 47 meant it beat off stiff competition from many other manufacturers to win the "European Yacht of the Year 2003" during the Düsseldorf boat show.

Also praised were the truly innovative details found on the Dehler 47; The tender can be stowed away in space created by the transom flap, which also doubles as an extended boarding platform.

The cabriolet system allows the sprayhood to be fully concealed when folded away and there is even an option to have the anchor retract into the bow-locker hydraulically, leaving a completely open bow area.

Below decks the Dehler 47 is in a class of her own. The high quality cherry wood interior, rounded style cupboards, well appointed galley and large luxurious saloon are naturally outstanding. There are even two luxuriously equipped heads, one with a separate enclosed shower area.

The Dehler 47 represents the pinnacle of all that is Dehler, and you can be proud in the knowledge that there is no other boat out there quite like her.
